Resolved conflicts by keeping f/updates changes:
- Keep Angular frontend with dark theme styling
- Keep updated quickstart scripts at root level
- Remove static HTML/JS files (replaced by Angular)
- Keep sim_source_id field implementation
- Merge backend improvements from main
